Auckland – 17 February, 2016 - Certus Solutions, a leading IBM systems integrator in Australia and New Zealand is pleased to announce the appointment of John McMahon to its Board of Directors, effective immediately.

The appointment of John as a non-executive Director will provide Certus with strategic guidance and ongoing governance to help maximise value and operational effectiveness. Based in Sydney, John’s appointment reinforces Certus’ strong market position and is designed to help support the firm’s continued growth in both Australia and New Zealand.

John has almost 30 years’ experience in both the New Zealand and Australian markets. He has a strong background in strategic governance, specifically within the Information Technology Sector. John is currently holding directorships with both Solution Dynamics Limited and Wellington Drive Technologies Limited.

John has an equity and investment background. He established Auro Investment Management in April 2010, prior to which he spent three years as Managing Director of ASB Securities Ltd, having previously been ABN AMRO's Head of Equities and Head of Research.

John also spent over two years in Sydney as Media Analyst for Morgan Stanley and was an analyst for a boutique fund manager. Before entering the investment industry John held finance manager/CFO roles in the publishing and transport industries.
