See how easy it is to create interactive reports based on asset data in Maximo, using IBM Cognos.

Visualising, analysing and sharing actionable insights based on asset data stored in Maximo can be a challenge. However, as I learn in episode 7 of #DataDialogues, it doesn’t need to be.

For this episode, I was excited to welcome performance management experts Nick Potts and Armand Mizan from Cortell to talk about Maximo and reporting.

Nick and Armand gave a live demonstration of IBM Cognos to show how easy it is to visualise, analyse and share actionable insights based on asset data in Maximo. I was particularly impressed by the interactive reports Armand created in a few simple steps during the live demonstration. He showed how even someone with little Maximo experience and no coding skills, can create reports that are easy to access and use by the wider organisation.

The interactive nature of these reports means anyone can use them to get the insights they need and drill deeper into the areas relevant to them.

But don’t just take my word for it. Take a look for yourself.
