At the IBM Business Partner Summit in Sydney in March, Certus was announced Business Partner of the Year 2012 for the Tivoli brand and for WebSphere. Ged Roberts, Director Applications and Integration, accepted the WebSphere award and Graeme Reardon, Business Development Manager Asset Solutions accepted the Tivoli award on behalf of the company. This is the fourth consecutive year that Certus has been recognised for its Tivoli expertise.

At the IBM Business Partner Summit in Sydney recently, Certus was announced Australian IBM Business Partner of the Year 2012, for the Tivoli brand and for WebSphere. The plaques were presented by Ryan Morrell, Channels Executive, IBM Software Group Australia.

Accepting the WebSphere award, Ged Roberts, Director Applications and Integration, said, "I was delighted to receive the IBM WebSphere Business Partner of the Year award on behalf of Certus, a year where we delivered many successful WebSphere web, portal, content and integration projects on behalf of our clients. The year also solidified our ability to deliver enterprise-scale, multi-platform mobility solutions to our clients regardless of their size and complexity. Certus looks forward to a further year of close partnership with IBM and the WebSphere brand in particular."

Certus director Maarten van der Zeyden also reflected on another successful year for Asset Solutions, this being the fourth consecutive year of being awarded the Tivoli IBM Business Partner of the Year. "Our Tivoli practice across Australia/New Zealand has been expanding energetically over the past year and the Business Partner of the Year award recognises this. It acknowledges the partnership between Certus and IBM and the impact this partnership has on software and solution sales. In 2012 this highly interactive relationship with IBM led to the first two channel special deals in the region. These are effectively an enterprise licensing agreement delivered via the channel, requiring a high trust sales process involving the customer, Certus and IBM,” he said.

IBM’s Ryan Morrell commented: “The Certus model leverages industry-leading IBM solutions to help its customers drive change within their business. The IBM Business Partner of the Year Awards recognise this deep industry expertise and we congratulate Certus on their achievement this year."
